He was predeceased by: his father James A. McCort; and his brother Robert Donald McCort. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Schaaf McCort of Mars; his wife Sharon A. Carlin McCort; his children, James T. McCort (Teri) of Harrison City and Jennifer M. Riegler (Michael) of Mars; his grandchildren, James L., Haleigh, Alissa McCort, Elaina and Meira Belle Riegler; his pets, Wagner, Yahtzee and Mia; and his siblings, Kimberly Gavin (Michael) of Mars and Scott McCort (Laurie) of Mercer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Crowe Ave, Mars, PA 16046). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
