He is survived by: his wife Joan Lorraine Waltemeyer; his children, Michael Scott Waltemeyer (Tara T. Hatfield) and Michele Ann Rehmeyer (Jeffrey L. Rehmeyer II); his grandchildren, Derek H. Williams, Keenan J. Waltemeyer, Collin J. Rehmeyer, Olivia Waltemeyer and Rachel R. Rehmeyer; his sister-in-law Gloria Jane Waltemeyer; and his sister Anita Louise Gibbs (Thomas Gibbs).
