He was predeceased by: his mother Lee Kristakis James. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Lanigan James; his children, Ellie and Colby James; his father George James; and his siblings, Kathryn Dickson (Bruce), Christine Guthrie, Constance Dyer and George James (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial donations in Mike's honor be made to his family.
