It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Joyce Kivisto of Jackson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Mary Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lazeration and Mary Lazeration (Judd); and her sister Joni Lazeration. She is survived by: her husband David M. Kivisto; and her sons, David J. "DJ" Kivisto and Michael Kivisto.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (3328 William Penn Ave, Johnstown, PA 15909).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
