He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence G. Hanson and Catharine Hanson (Milligan); his former wife Joan Hanson (O'Brien); and his brother William Hanson. He is survived by: his children, James Jr. Hanson (Pamela), Patricia Stewart (Jimmy), Denise Todd (Gary) and Jay Hanson (Juliann); his grandchildren, Carleigh, Alaina, James, Jonathan, Samuel, Sierra and Alexander; his wife Darlene Levai Hanson; his nephews, Frank Levai (Trish), Craig Levai (Tara), Eric Levai (Jamie) and Nicholas Levai (Nicole); his brother Lawrence Hanson (Judith); and his close friends, Bernie Forester and Connie Bradley. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
