We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George D. Heintzelman of Jackson, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Heintzelman and Mary Heintzelman (Polan); and his wife Agnes Adele Heintzelman (Long). He is survived by: his daughter Carol E. Bogert (Wayne) of Stillwater; his grandchildren, Leland Bogert, Sr. (Heidi), Janell Pegg (Robert, Jr.), Brandy Bogert (Jason Howell) and Brittany Bogert (Travis Bitler); his great grandchildren, Leland Bogert, Jr., Joshua Remley, Angelina Steinbacher, Joshua Bogert, Renee, Adelyn, Emily Howell, Aaron, Natalie, Scarlett Pegg, Alexa, John and Olivia Bitler; and his sister Mary Ann Yocum (Barry). He is also survived by his family and babysitting his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc. (4394 Red Rock Rd, Benton, PA 17814). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Columbus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to a Veterans organization of the donor's choice.
