He is survived by: his children, Cathy Ann Faunce (Davis) and Wallace W. Stearns, Jr. (Leanne); his grandchildren, Sara Cipriano (William "Fudd"), Joshua Stearns (Tiffany), Carrie Geiger (Louis) and Matthew Kress (Dorothy); and his sister Ruth Slater.
Memorials may be made in Wallace's name to the Jackson Center Presbyterian Church, VA Hospital – Butler, Diabetes Assoc, or the Cancer Foundation.
