He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Bert and Florence Bert (Dopler). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie E. Bert (Foster); his sons, George Bert of Jackson Center, Robert Bert (Betsy) of Fredonia, Michael Bert (Catherine) of Jackson Center and David Bert; and his sister Gail. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
