He is survived by: his daughters, Mindy Bert (Jon Zirkle), Sara Hazlett (David) and Emily Reda (Andy); his stepson Josh Freeman; his grandchildren, Ryan Zirkle, Madison Bert, Devin Hazlett, Ellie Hazlett, Layla Hazlett and Maisie Reda; his brothers, Bob Bert (Betsy), Mike Bert (Cathy) and David Bert; and his significant other Missy Wike.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (99 Franklin St, Stoneboro, PA 16153). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
