We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 74, William C. Gimbel III of Ivyland, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Gimbel, Jr. and Eleanor Scheupfer Gimbel; his daughter Jennifer Gimbel Hamilton; his stepdaughter Tracie Barry; and his grandson Paul.

He is survived by: his pet Patsi; his wife Lynda Kuehn Gimbel; his son William C. Gimbel, IV (Susan); his stepchildren, Walter Dymowski, Jr. (Maria), Cheri Wellbrock and Ami Karlo (Joe); his grandchildren, Will, Josh, Julianna, Sabrina, Adam (Khawla), Michael (Kimmi), Gabriella, Larry, Charlie, Ami Leigh (Rudy), Octavia, Cameron, Carter, Cade and Xavier; his brother Glenn Gimbel (Martha); and his niece Natalie Gimbel (Louise Cagnasso Gimbel).
