She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Schiefer and Frederick Schiefer; and her husband Gove Elmer "Bud" Yerkes. She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Bateman (Scott), Mark Yerkes (Andrea), Melody Green (Silas) and Ellen Spink (Trevor). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ida S. Yerkes, may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
