He was predeceased by: his parent Kyriakos Melas. He is survived by: his brothers, Konstandinos and Drake; his daughter Maria; his grandchildren, Drake, Konstandinos and Athina; his siblings, Panayiota, Ourania (Stamatis) and Aggeliki (Nikos); his sisters-in-law, Kyriaki (Petros), Koula (Stavros) and Magdalene (Fotis); his wife Shirley; his stepson Henry (Gail); and his children, Kyriakos (Elisa), Penelope (Greg) and Pavlos (Angela). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family kindly requests that those who wish to pay tribute to Drakoulis' memory reflect on the importance of family care during one's later years.
