He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Nixon and Kathleen Nixon (Dillon); and his parents-in-law, Mike "Smiles" and Hazel Beljan. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nixon (Beljan); his daughters, Nicole Butler (Mike) of Irwin and Melissa Arthur (Kyle) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Matthew, Abby and Emmi; and his siblings, Mary Kay Shirey (Larry) of North Huntingdon and Patrick Nixon (Cindy) of Tionesta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to pandemic restrictions, only 25 people will be permitted in the funeral home at one time.
