He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his son Duane Spiegel of North Huntingdon. He is survived by: his son Bill; his parents, Julius Spiegel and Mary Kepka Spiegel (Spychala); his brother Joseph (Theresa); his daughters, Barbara DeFelice (Nick) of Level Green and Cathy Spiegel of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren, Gary Grudowski of Florida, Kristin Pirris (Stephen) of Florida, Lisa Parker (Christopher) of Florida and Laurel Halerstadt (Justin) of Missouri; his great grandchildren, Elle Mackenize, Addison Kate, Aubree Colette Pirris, Lainey Parker and Lonna Parker; and also William Spiegel (Diane) of Kansas.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project of the VFW Post 781.
