She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Kaftanich and Mary Kaftanich (Yedinak); her husband John Hanicak; and her sisters, Katherine Lindamood, Dorothy Faix and Eleanor Zuber.
She is survived by: her children, Donald J. Hanicak (Nancy), Robert P. Hanicak, Kenneth L. Hanicak (Robin), John E. Hanicak (Julie) and Karen L. Foster (William); her grandchildren, Tanna, Christopher, Cassandra, Jeff, Sasha, Tyler, Scott, Dakota and Chris; and her great grandchildren, Camryn, Triston, Colby, Grayson and Avery.
