It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Detofsky (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Detofsky and Jennie Lazar (Glassman); his stepfather Al Lazar; and his sister Barbara Naden. He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Detofsky (Sinwell); his stepson Tyler Banash; his siblings-in-law, John, Karen, Janice and Mary Denise; his children, Erin Elizabeth Varquez, Jonah Michael Detofsky and Benjamin Mark Varquez; and his niece Emily.
