It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis F. Thiem (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Flemington, West Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ovid Festtes Pickett; her grandson Richard Lee Nicholas Jr.; and her brother Jamie Andre Pickett. She is survived by: her parent Mary Louise Jack (Snider); her stepfather Robert Jack of Apollo; her children, Chutty Bender (Marcia Clark) of Salem, OH, Lanny Bender (Carol) of Chippewa Township, Candy Greiner (Chuck) of Irwin, Shelly Glass of Irwin and Marjorie Gongaware (Rich Todd) of Scottdale; her grandchildren, Jenna Nicholas, Nina Glass, Travis, Justin, Austin Gongaware, Christie, Joshua and Jesse Bender; and her great grandchildren, Linsay Gongaware, Hayden, Caroline and Maverick Bender.
