She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard F. Rowland and Margaret Rowland (Walls); her husband Gordon Grainger; and her siblings, Peggy E. Bupp, Howard J. Rowland and Jack Rowland. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the White Oak Animal Shelter or another animal protection group.
