It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ruth Gallagher (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Howell and Virginia E. Howell (Dysard); her husband Frank Gallagher; her granddaughter Tricia Giordano; and her sister Mary Ann Freed.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gallagher (Margie), Peggy Nixon (late Bill), Cathryn Ott (Joseph Jr.) and Carolyn J. Brigode (John); her grandchildren, Erin Leydig (Eric), Christine Naples (Darrin), Jackie Butler (Rich), Melissa Johnson (Justin), Joseph Ott III (Mary Ann) and Stephen Giordano (Lisa); and her siblings, Catherine Root, Jean Luzier and Bob Howell. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. (805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont PA 15626.
