He was predeceased by: his father Michael G. Debruyn; and his grandparents, Carol, Michael Mesiarik, Herman George "Butch" Debruyn and Catherine Clade Ingelido.
He is survived by: his mother Roseanne Debruyn (Chabanik) of Irwin; his close friend Katelyn Kovacs; his grandfather William Chabanik; his aunts, Monica Kitta (Robert), Linda Carlson (Jeff) and Margaret Ursta (late Nicholas); his uncle David Debruyn (Laura); his cousins, Ashley Kitta, Adam Kitta and Jeffrey Carlson; his son Blake (Cody Carlson); and also Sophia.
