It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene D. (Blend) Bookheimer (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Blend (Cunningham) and Walter Blend; her husband Donald L. Bookheimer; her granddaughter Lana Elaine Hendershot; and her sister-in-law Janet Blend.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Hendershot (Bill) of Morgantown, Diane Uhlig (Bill) of Johnstown, Donald Bruce Bookheimer (Cheryl) of Greensburg and Laurie Jo Bookheimer of Hempfield Twp; her grandchildren, Jenna Hendershot, Ian Hendershot, Elyse Uhlig, Mara Fenton (Daniel), Julia Kuhns (Corey), Lynsey Bookheimer and Alan Bookheimer; her great grandchildren, Steven Bartnicki, Rose Bartnicki and Hadley Fenton; and her brothers, Ronald Blend (Sally) of North Huntingdon and Richard Blend of North Versailles. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, neice and nephew.
