She was predeceased by: her sister Christine Diemert-Ryan. She is survived by: her parents, Karl Diemert and Linda Diemert (Soltis); her husband Philip Carter; her son William "Billy" Vantine (Rachel); her sister Suzanne Weaver (Brian); her nieces, Ashley, Juli, Kaitlyn and Rachel; and her pets, Scout, Reese, Hank, Huck, Vern, Sydney and Smeel.
