He was predeceased by: his parent Karl Mastele; his wife Dolores C. Mastele (Smith); his son Keith Steven Mastele; his granddaughter Yvonne Crawford; and his siblings, John Mastele, Tillie Cronmiller and Evelyn "Babe" Castelli.
He is survived by: his parent Mathilda Schellhorn Mastele; and his children, Doreen Sever (Fred) of West Newton, Jeannette Briggs of North Versailles, Karl J. Mastele (Roseann) of North Huntingdon and Michele Forgie (Alex) of Irwin.
