She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Blakely and Edna Blakely (Pate). She is survived by: her husband Edward Balas; her children, William Langhurst (Shari) of Greensburg, John Langhurst (Lisa) of Luxor, Denise Tuskan of Manor and James Balas (Lani) of Manor; her grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob and Madeline; her sister Dorothy Sutton of Goldsboro, NC; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Breen of Cocoa, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in Joyce's name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation which is supported by Eat'n Park Restaurants.
