He is survived by: his stepson Lewis J Lucarelli; his grandson Nicholas Lucarelli; his wife Mary Olean McGeever Baney; his stepsons, Michael Lucarelli (Susan) and Nicholas Lucarelli (Patty); his son Joseph Baney; his grandchildren, Carson Lucarelli, Adam Lucarelli (Kaitlin), Austin Lucarelli, Michael Lucarelli, Jimmy Falotovich, John Lucarelli, Anthony Baney and Nicole Gogolsky; his great grandchildren, Enzo Lucarelli, Gianni Lucarelli and Luke Gogolsky; and his extended family, Nick Pascarella, Rosalie Small, Pat and Gil Campion.
Joe's exceptional achievements and contributions to the sport were recognized with his induction into the Softball Hall of Fame, an honor that celebrated his outstanding success. In memory of Joe Baney, his family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
