With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Stephen Makosey of Irwin, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Makosey and Mary Makosey (Telesko); his wife Ellen Makosey (Gross); and his siblings, Shirley, Ann, Helen, Mary, Joseph, Charles, John and Andrew.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Makosey (Stephanie) of Murrysville and Beth Makosey (Steve Burge) of San Jose, CA.; his grandchildren, Evelyn Makosey, Robert Burge and Katherine Burge; his siblings-in-law, Jane Bradley (Dean) of Dravosburg and Jack Gross of Greenville; and his nephew Ronald Makosey (Shelby) of Boston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
