He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Johnnie Mathews; his sister-in-law Jane Allen; and his niece Lynne Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Carroll Lee Sloan; his daughters, Carrolline Barnett (Bryan) of Fruitland and Annie Bradly (Joseph) of Southside, TN; his grandchildren, Nicholas Barnett, Haylee Barnett and Aaron Bradley; his brother Bill Sloan (Ruth) of Irwin; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Bates and Rodney Allen; and his mother-in-law Jessie Lou Mathews.
