James Floyd Peters Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Floyd Peters of Irwin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Peters and Sarah A. Peters (Brown); his son Kurt D. Peters; and his brother Walter W. Peters. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie "Odeana" Peters (Pyle); his children, Douglas J. Peters (Cherie) of Harrison City and Erin Barnot (Ryan) of Cortland, OH; his grandchildren, Sarah (James), Jared, Iain, Aidan and Rylee; his sister Ruth E. Terhorst (John) of Jeannette; and his sister-in-law Jane Peters of Ardara. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. (521 Main St, Irwin, PA 15642). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Ardara United Presbyterian Church (3380 Nehrig Hill Rd, Ardara, PA 15615).
