He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his parents, Philip and Loretta; and his siblings, Richard, Philip Jr. and Susan Mormon.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Ferragonio (Joseph), James Gillespie (Ana), David Gillespie (Rose Mary), Charlotte Fisher (Charles), Sarah Pile (Eugene), Elizabeth Haushalter (David) and Douglas Gillespie (Heidi); his sister Nancy Troy; and his cousin Lucy Russell (Joe). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
