He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ruffing and Elizabeth Ruffing (Fleckenstein); and his brothers, Robert Ruffing (JoAnn) and Edwin Ruffing (Amy Barnes). He is survived by: his wife Maureen E. Ruffing (O'Leary); his children, Keith W. Ruffing (Jennifer) of Mount Washington, Dana Ruffing of West Mifflin and Bruce Ruffing (April) of North Versailles; his stepgrandchildren, Timothy, Ariel, Taylor and Kara; and his brothers, Paul Ruffing (Shari Whitney) of Versailles and Ken Ruffing (Lisa) of Port Vue.
