She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Francis and Edwina Platt (DeWalt). She is survived by: her brother Gordon Platt; her husband George Irwin Altman II; her daughter Kristin Altman (Ken Pollard) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Olivea, Demitri, Trinity and Isaiah; and her sister Linda Thomas (Drew) of Indiana. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
