He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Lavelle; his wife Rita Bernice Tray Lavelle; his daughter Janice Lavelle; his siblings, Charles, William, Earl, Edmund Lavelle and Ruth Pietropaoli; and his significant other Mary Lou Throm.
He is survived by: his parent Catherine Evans Lavelle; and his children, Edgar Lavelle (Donna), Denny Lavelle (Karen) of Irwin, Diana Wherry (Tom) of Irwin and Nancy Marco (Bobby) of Irwin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
