She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Battiston and Mary Battiston (Brozack); her sons, Joseph and David; and her sister Patricia Bowling.

She is survived by: her husband Eli; her children, Mary (Basara), Mike Adam, Nick, Denise Basara, Michael Basara, Diane (Basara), Victor Britton, Jim and Gaylynn Basara; her grandchildren, Nikki Lynn (Basara), J. J. Long, Emily (Basara), Justin Killian, Mario, Valeria Basara, Simon Baker and David Britton; her great grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Long; and her siblings, Alfred, MaryAnn Battiston, Robert, Karen Battiston, Christine and Bernard Shuglie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
