It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Filtz (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond J. Filtz and Barbara Jean Filtz (Thomas); his wife Kimberly Filtz (Klavora); his daughters, Kimberly Grubb (Jesse) of North Huntingdon and Sara Filtz of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren, Tyler, Anthony and Maggie; and his sisters, Mari Ann Shope and Diane Tamplin.

“No man on earth like this man. I will always cherish growing up and every saturday riding with dink and my uncle frank. Dink always had a full gas can and a cooler of pop.And lots of stories. He put up with me (twirp) on his dads (ray)jobsites. Dink denny and shwants taught me alot out there. Id race for a case nailing down subfloor with my rocket hammer dink gave me and no i never won against him or denny. A true angel of a human. Genuine to the bone. The world is a little dimmer now (Loved)”
