He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. and Anna E. Hubert Jr. (Campbell); his son-in-law Richard J. Simms; and his brothers, Donald C. Hubert, Gerald R. Hubert and W. L. Hubert III.
He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Hubert (Blough); his children, Darrell Hubert Jr. (Deena) of Bellefonte, Anita Simms of Irwin and Sonya Newmeyer (Mark) of Westmoreland City; his grandchildren, Nikolas Hubert (Ashley), Christopher Hubert (Amber), Natalie Hubert (Mason), Jesse Simms (Heather), Alahna Simms (Kodie), Joshua Newmeyer (Sarah) and Lilliana Painter (Jesse); and his great grandchildren, Xavier and Tristan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street NW.
