He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hirschfeld and Dolores Hirschfeld (Flannery). He is survived by: his wife Kristine Hirschfeld (Opalko); his son Patrick Hirschfeld; and his siblings, Jerry Hirschfeld (Leyla) and Trudy Baumgarten (Gene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
