She was predeceased by: her brother Shadd Roberts. She is survived by: her parent Cynthia Roberts Carpenter (Dave); her husband Joshua Gartland; her children, Lillian R. Carpenter, Cricket A. Carpenter and Carson M. Carpenter; her sister Ginny-ann Pinchock (Alex Loucks); and her friend Christine.
