He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray T. Barkfelt and Margaretta H. Barkfelt (Hall); his wife JoAnn M. Barkfelt (Ball); his siblings, LeMoyne Barkfelt and Dorothy Symonak; and his grandson Paul Michael Barkfelt.
He is survived by: his children, Ricki Lynne Dennison (Barry), Tracey Martin, Melissa Russell (Shawn), John Barkfelt (Stephanie) and Richard II Barkfelt (Christine); and his siblings, Leatrice Donovan and Larry Barkfelt. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
