She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwendolyn Lindsay and Daisy Lindsay; and her husband Dennis E. Simpson Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, LaShan McCoy of Clayton, NC and Monique Vaughn of Monaca, PA; her siblings, Mamie Maddrey, John Lindsay and Lavelle Lindsay Sr. of Grand Rapids, MI.; her grandchildren, Leroy Frederick, Jamia Jennings, Traveon Key, Derrick McCoy Jr., Amahn Key and Sydney McCoy; her great grandchildren, Le'Ara Frederick, Brian Frederick, Knox Key and Sir Knox; her sons, Dennis Jr., Jermaine Simpson and Rodney Burrows; her friend Bennie Summers; and her goddaughter Angie Gillam. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
