He is survived by: his wife Irja Elaine Ruffner Coles; his daughters, Laura Todd (Dave) and Patty Coles; his sister Verna Diane Kerr; his grandchildren, Amber, Jess, Brett (Christina), Brody (Alyssa), Cody and Kathy; and his great grandchildren, Destiny, Ariella, Brinlee, Azelyn, Abiona, Ethan and Skyler. He is also survived by numerous brother and sister in-laws, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
