It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lee Simpson (Indiana, Pennsylvania), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Forest and Eunice Maybelle Simpson (Harrison); his wife Saundra (Joyner); his children, Deanna Simpson-Albertson (Greg) of Omaha, NE, Deborah Simpson-Freeman (Russ) of El Cajon, CA, Cheryl Simpson-O'Meara (John) of Summerville, SC, Melissa Simpson of San Diego, CA, William F. Simpson, Sonya Marcos (Sean) and Heidi Simpson (Kristi Cordetsky) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Albertson, Brandon Albertson, Jennifer Simpson-Beck, Russ Ackley, Cameron Harris, Sarah O'Meara Brooksby, April Craig, Sean Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Connor Logsdon and Kailen Logsdon; his great grandchildren, Autumn, Roman, Katherine, Landon, Caroline and Tommy; and his siblings, Howard Simpson (Rose) and Nadine Simpson-Haun (David).
