William left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Lauffer and Clara Lauffer (Hutton); and his siblings, Bob, Ed, Doyle Jr., Ralph, Donald, Albert, Charles, Jean, Alice and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, William James Lauffer, Jr., Gary Allen Lauffer, Dennis James Lauffer and Cathy Ann Lauffer (Dan); his grandchildren, Brooke Lauffer, Stone Lauffer, Dustin Lauffer (Shannen) and Brock Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Bailee and Jackson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home (152 Abbe Pl, Delmont, PA 15626). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
