With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rory Douglas Gittings (Indiana, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Roy Gittings; and his grandparents, Carl, Jean Lantzy, Harry and Kathleen Gittings.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Westrick Gittings; his children, Harlie Gittings, Levi Gittings (Kamryn), Caleb Gittings, Brionna Szalkowski and Alex Szalkowski; his mother Carol Mears (Kerry); and his siblings, Gerard Gittings (Alyse), Aaron Gittings (Amanda) and Samantha Gittings (Brandon). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home (898 Old Rte 119 Hwy N, Indiana, PA 15701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Lefdahl Chapel (898 Old Rte 119 Hwy N, Indiana, PA 15701).
