He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ireland and Violet Ireland (Olsen); his wife Harriet Lewis; his sister Polly Ireland; and his son Daniel H. Ireland.
He is survived by: his children, Philip B. Ireland (LuAnn), Linda A. Ireland (Michelle) and Robert R. Ireland; and his brothers, James Ireland (Bea), Robert "Bud" Ireland (Arlene), William Ireland (Peggy) and Richard Ireland (Judy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
