He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph and Robert Connelly (Jan). He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Connelly; his sons, Aaron L. Connelly (Denise), John R. Connelly (Dawn Marie) and Brian K. Connelly (Erin); his grandchildren, Heather Grab (Dustin) and Lindsey Walton (Luke); and his siblings, Audree Swartzlander (Richard) and Regis Connelly (Kim).
