He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Stewart and Margaret Elizabeth Stewart (Hill); his wife Connie (Connie); his daughter Christine Stewart; his siblings, William Stewart and Elizabeth McClure (Stewart); and his half-brothers, John Byers (Jack), David Byers and Kenneth Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Blystone of Indiana, Cheryl Stewart of Indiana, Cynthia Strittmatter (Greg) of Indiana and Robert S. Stewart (Maria) of Atlanta; his siblings, Richard Stewart (Joyce) of Indiana and Geraldine Esch (Stewart) of Lebanon, Ind.; his son-in-law Craig Fahnestock (late Christine Stewart) of Hershey; his grandchildren, Rachel Strittmatter (Matt Schroeder), Angela George, Erin Klindworth (Jeff), Scott Blystone (Laura), Cassandra Miller, Brendan Stewart, Laura Stewart, Lindsay Miller (John Manda), Summer Miller and Anna Stewart; his great grandchildren, Peyton and Brock George; and his pet Maggie.
