He was predeceased by: his parents, Valgene Leer and Lillian Van Leer (Houser). He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Sally" (Leasure); his children, Pamela K. Berezansky (Steve), Ronald M. Van Leer (Tammy) of Indiana and Jeffrey A. Van Leer (Carlie) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Bradley Berezansky, Marie Clevenger (Tyler), Lola Van Leer, Fox Van Leer, Nathan Van Leer and Liam Van Leer; his great grandchildren, Alexis Justice, Keira Berezansky and Jase Clevenger; his great great grandchild Karter Justice; and his sister Elaine Balue (Denny).
