It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois R. Hewitt Anderson of Indiana, Pennsylvania, born in West Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Smith and Rescie E. Smith (McCurdy); her former husband Arthur W. Hewitt; her husband W. Theodore Anderson; her daughter Patricia Brodrick; her grandsons, Craig Alan and Douglas Lee Brodrick; and her siblings, Florence K. Smith-Taylor, Mary E. Smith-Ritenour and Edward W. Smith.
She is survived by: her son Leonard R. Hewitt of Washington State; her son-in-law Martin Brodrick of Indiana; her stepchildren, Carolyn Cook of Indiana and David E. Anderson (Jenny) of Clarksburg; her stepgranddaughter Lynnette Borbonus (Mark) of Clarksburg; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Maura-Reese and Kaylynn Borbonus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lois' honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
