He was predeceased by: his mother Jerry Rice (Mary Ruth); his brother Chris Rice; his brother-in-law Thomas Schambacher; and his nephew Matthew Rice. He is survived by: his son Matthew; his wife Cynthia Hazlett Rice; his sons, Erik Rice (Denise) of Moorseville, NC and Seth Rice (Kristen) of Gibsonia, PA; his daughter-in-law Heather Rice of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Jillian Rice, Collin Rice, Quinn Rice, Brad Petrulak (Samantha), Ami Petrulak and Hildy Rice; his sister Kay Schambacher (Hazlett) of Hurst, TX; and his great grandchildren, Carol-Leigh Petrulak, William Petrulak and Anna Petrulak. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's memory to the American Heart Association.
