He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hancock and Anna Hancock (Schwartzmiller); his son Larry Hancock; and his siblings, Catherine Douglas (Bob), Richard Hancock, David Hancock and Jean Hilpert.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Mott; his sons, David Hancock (Marsha) of Hendersonville, PA and Martin Hancock (Mary) of New Eagle, PA; his stepchildren, John McQuillen (Tina) of Indiana, PA and Julia Williams (Allen) of Indiana, PA; his grandchildren, Rachel Vega, Erick Hancock, Jared Hancock and Neil Hancock; his stepgrandchildren, Chrissy Williams, Casey McQuillen, Michael Williams and Daniel Williams; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Cora; and his brothers, Robert Hancock (Nancy) of Carnegie, PA and Jack Hancock (Karen) of South Fayette, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Black Lick, PA.
